Talk: Learn to Lead a Club Walk

Do you want to understand more about what it takes to lead our GMC walks? Perhaps you want to refresh your existing knowledge or are just interested in understanding what our leaders do to put on such a varied walk programme? Join our experienced mountaineer Keith for this online talk and discussion about learning to lead a walk out in the hills and mountains.
We will:
- outline the general GMC etiquette of how to advertise the walk details to members ahead of the walk
- talk about what to consider ahead of the walk
- discuss leading on the day itself
- talk through some common and not so common issues that may arise.
