Owl Grove car park in the Taf Fechan Forest. Free of charge.

The car park is located on the south side of the Central Brecon Beacons, roughly halfway along the road running between Talybont-on-Usk and Pontsticill. It can be approached from either direction.

Note roadworks until 2025 between Dowlais Top and Hirwaun on the A465 Heads of the Valleys road mean that access from the Merthyr Tydfil area is subject to diversions. Currently (summer 2023) this is off the A465 at Dowlais Industrial Estate and then Bryniau Road to and via Pant.
