Join Mick on this delightful and varied route taking in the River Taff, a fairly steep ascent to the Garth plateau via the North East spur footpath and onto the Trig Point (307m). A 5-6 mile loop (925 feet ascent) heading out of the village along the former railway line and entering Tyn y Coed for a steep ascent of Craig Gwilym, across to Pentyrch and a loop to the east of the village , returning via Craig y Parc.
