Walk: Southern Wye Valley, 21km/13miles, 850m/2800ft ascent (Moderate)

Around the southern end of the Wye Valley. We start in Chepstow. Via a series of well-known and lesser-known paths we make our way to Tintern, returning to the start on the west side of the river Wye Valley footpath. Paths are mostly good, but steep in places.
Start at 9.30am, meeting at Drill Hall carpark (GR; ST 536 941), off Lower Church St. You will need to follow the one-way system through Chepstow. Small charge for car parking £1.30 at Drill Hall or over £6 at other car parks.
21km/13miles with 850m/2800feet of ascent.
