From a distance, Hay Bluff (Black Mountains) appears to be higher and steeper than it actually is. This shortish to moderate walk of 17.5km/11miles with 640m/2100ft ascent begins from the main car park in Hay-on-Wye and proceeds via Cusop Dingle to ascend Hay Bluff.
