Christmas Pudding Walk (easy walk)
Traditionally, the location and route for this short and easy walk is kept secret until a few days before the event. This year it will begin at Llanover Village Hall (Map OL13 grid reference SO311082). A short narrow lane opposite a sign to the Village Hall on the A4042 and by the bus stop takes you to the hall. Car parking is at the back.
This undulating walk will take approximately 3 hours and covers fields, woods, a sunken lane and a short stretch along the canal. There will be a 15 minute coffee break at the Goose and Cuckoo, although it may not be open at that time of the morning. And then back to the Village Hall for lunch (bring your own) followed by mulled wine, tea, coffee, mince pies and carols. etc.
