DESCRIPTION:Join Havard for this walk linking three upland Commons to the northwest of Talgarth. The three Commons are Felinfach\, Llandefalle Hill and Mynydd Forest. Starting from the pretty Brechfa Pool\, there is a steady transition to open\, wind‑brushed grazing land with broad upland views. The route has a gentle rhythm to it\, with each Common offering a different texture of light\, space\, and horizon as Havard leads us across the landscape. Follow the signs for Llanfeugan and Plas Pencelli from Pencelli.\n\nThe Pen is Pen y Bryn with great views of the Black Mountains and the Beacons – weather permitting.\n\nThe Pub is the Royal Oak at Pencelli.\n\nWe will take a route south west to the top\, and then descend north-east to join the Usk Valley Trail to return to the start.
