A couple of miles of unavoidable lane walking here.  After crossing the A481\, the route continues with an ascent of Aberedw Hill. We have slight rise up to the Monmouth and Brecon canal. we then hike along the Monmouth and Brecon canal until bridge 112 where we turn left\, going through two wooded areas and end up on The Legar.
