DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, I completed the Dragon’s Back Race\, a mountainous 380km 6-day Ultra from Conwy Castle to Cardiff Castle. It is described as the World’s Toughest Mountain Race\, and *spoiler alert* it was pretty hard! \n  \nCome along to hear what motivated me to enter\, the training involved and general tales from the 6 days.

DESCRIPTION:“There and back again” – the life of a climber\, photographer and IFMGA Mountain Guide https://ifmga.info/. \nAlun’s talk will discuss rock climbs and mountains from Pembroke to El Capitan\, Greenland and Everest. \nAlun’s climbing biography includes E5s\, grade 6 ice routes and big walls in Yosemite. He has climbed mountains all over the world and has climbed to over 7000m many times. Alun became an IFMGA Mountain Guide https://ifmga.info/ in 1996 retiring just a few years ago.
