DESCRIPTION:An illustrated talk by Ray Barnett about The Haute Route\, a high-level trail through the French and Swiss Alps for 200km/125miles from Chamonix in the west to Zermatt in the east. Ray will tell us about his recent two week trek from Chamonix at the base of Mont Blanc to Zermatt at the foot of The Matterhorn while camping and staying in mountain huts with stiff climbs every day and absolutely stunning scenery.
